Te.Co. FRX®, PMXX® and PMMXX® family dynamic installation cables are characterised by PVC and polyurethane outer jackets respectively.
PVC
The advantage of using PVC for the outer jacket in dynamic installations is that the cable is very soft and extremely easy to peel and unsheathe. It also means users can have a product with good resistance to chemical substances and moderate detergents.
In particular: FRX® family cables, suited for dynamic installation on drag chains or free installation, have intermediate-to-high dynamic properties at reasonable costs. What’s more, the PVC mix guarantees good operations in dynamic installations up to a temperature of -10°C.
PUR
PUR outer jackets ensure:
- elasticity;
- high mechanical resistance;
- scratch resistance;
- good chemical resistance to acid substances and hydrocarbons.
Suited for flexural-torsional applications and drag chains up to 15 metres, the PMXX® dynamic installation cables guarantee the most dynamic performance. With PUR outer jacket and polyolefin insulation, these halogen-free cables provide good performance up to a temperature of -40°C.
The polyurethane outer jacket makes PMXX® and PMMXX® dynamic installation cables resistant to chemical agents and aggressive industrial oils, scratches and cuts. Lastly, the support braid, made up of aramid fibres, makes PMMXX® suitable for long chains, vertical installations or applications subject to high traction such as loop winders.
