In these last few years the development of the automated industrial systems has required an ever-increasing offer of bus cables that comply with the main communication protocols used in the industrial environment.
The market need has led us to widen our range of cables both for fixed and dynamic installation by including in our catalogue various bus cable with voltages equal to or higher than 300V.
WHICH ROLE DOES THE VOLTAGE PLAY IN THE INSTALLATION OF DIFFERENT CABLES IN THE SAME CONDUIT?
The possibility of installing different cables (supply, power and control cables) in the same conduit is given by their maximum working voltage which has to be equal to or even higher than the maximum working voltage present in the duct.
A servo cable with 1000V maximum working voltage that supplies a motor at 600V can be laid together with an Encoder cable or Bus with maximum working voltage equal to 600V. This clarifying example highlights the need to provide users with electrical industrial cables having different voltages.
