Striving to continuously expand its product range to provide a more competitive catalogue, Te.Co. has added two new Ethernet cable codes increasingly more suited for use in the industrial automation field, especially for the American and Canadian markets.
Also UL Listed CMX type certified, Te.Co. BUS cables 38733 and 38736 replace items 30460 and 27570 respectively, UL Recognized, until out of stock. The dimensions and characteristics of use in the dynamic field remain unchanged, the UL AWM voltage is instead raised to a higher level, up to 1000V, and the UL LISTED CMX voltage up to 300V.
This latter feature allows manufacturers to optimise on-board machine wiring, in terms of time and space, bringing cables that work at different and even high voltages along with the BUS in the same raceway, with 400V power supply or a 600V DC BUS.
Data transmission can reach 10 Gbps and is guaranteed by the high performance of the associated ETHERNET® categories, cat. 6 for code 38736 and cat. 7 for code 38733.
The brand new feature is the expansion of the field of use for the American and Canadian markets that goes beyond machine wiring. In fact, CMX certification allows for building connections according to the instructions in the National Electrical Code (NFPA70) article 800 and Canadian Electrical Code (C.S.A. C22.2) part 214-17, respectively.
The first type of cable in the table, code 38733, is available for static installation with PVC sheath, the second, code 38736, on the other hand, is suited for dynamic installation with polyurethane sheath.
Both items come in 500m, 100m coils and are also available cut to size according to customer needs.
