Te.Co. has joined the EtherCAT Technology Group, the international consortium made up of companies from different industries and 65 countries that work together with industrial automation world leaders to further develop and support EtherCAT® technology .
The consortium was established in 2003 and is made up of more than 5,000 corporate members to support the distribution of theEtherCAT (Ethernet for Automation Technology Control) standard, a fieldbus based on Ethernet.
EtherCat is a registered trademark and patented technology, licensed by Beckhoff Automation GmbH with who we have signed an agreement to be able to brand our cables EtherCAT starting from the upcoming productions. EtherCAT branded products are by a landslide the fastest industrial Ethernet technology that allows for synchronisation in just nanoseconds. The rapid reaction speed reduces wait time between process phases which significantly increases application efficiency. This results in performance that permits greater accuracy, higher production volumes and lower costs.
Since joining the consortium, Te.Co. can actually boast that some of its industrial cables are not just compatible but actual products based on EtherCAT standards, thus with the main advantages typical of this technology such as flexibility, speed and accuracy, to offer solutions suited to any need.
